This summer the Hamptons nightlife continued to move east, away from Southampton and with more action in Montauk. We had a tough time narrowing down the list to 7, so here are 10 of our favorite spots in the Hamptons.
The Surf Lodge
Trendy hotel, restaurant, and bar with a whimsical surfer vibe is the hot spot of the year, attracting live music ranging from Capital Cities to impromptu performances by Hamptons resident Jimmy Buffet. Randy Scott runs the door and carefully curates who comes inside.
The Club at Philippe
Philippe has returned to the Hamptons as a restaurant during the day and evolves into a club at night. The venue was previously home of Finale East and SL East.
Hampton’s outpost by the Strategic Group, which operates 1OAK in NYC, LA and Vegas as well. The venue was previously home of South Pointe and RDV East.
Hotel, restaurant and nightlife destination, with a hip, young crowd. Packed every weekend in the summer.
Montauk Yacht Club
Resort and 2 restaurants overlooking one of the biggest yacht harbors in the country. The Koch Brothers (who previously started the famous Day and Night brunch parties) hold their Rise Montauk parties here on Saturdays.
Enjoy beach parties and craft cocktails at this nautically themed bar and restaurant.
Beautique at The Capri
The Hamptons outpost of Beautique opened this summer and even former Speaker Nancy Pelosi was famously turned away this summer. In NYC, Beautique is a bar and restaurant for the jet set crowd across from The Plaza
Richie Notar of New York’s Harlow has opened an outpost in the Hamptons this summer.
One of the best beachside bars and restaurants in Montauk which has become a popular spot this summer. Blade even offers seaplane service from Manhattan to Navy Beach, with a table waiting for you 50 minutes after departing the city.
Casual beachside bar, always packed with people drinking day and night. Also a restaurant, should you get hungry.
Southampton Social Club
Restaurant and bar with a large outdoor lawn that picks up at night.
