We had dinner at one of the best restaurants in all of Africa, and it certainly lived up to its name. The Azure Restaurant brings five star quality cuisine, service and ambiance to Cape Town led by Chef Christo Pretorius. The interior was beautiful, with serene views of the ocean (especially great during sunset) and a modern upscale interior that is very well decorated.
The cuisine blends international favorites, South African classics, and indigenous foods, with local fresh ingredients and the best seafood. I would be confident that Michelin would rate it quite highly. For real foodies with sophisticated tastes, we would highly recommend planning a peaceful evening at Azure.
