Personally I think Madrid’s capital city is one of the most stunning cities to live in, and there are many reasons for this: its rich culture, long-lasting tradition, stunning architecture, the way of living, amazing coffee houses, and many many more…

Retiro Park

The Buen Retiro Park is one of the largest parks of the city of Madrid. The park belonged to the Spanish Monarchy until the late 19th century, when it became a public park.

Círculo de Bellas Artes

The building which houses the Círculo de Bellas Artes was designed by the architect Antonio Palacios and constructed in 1926. It is an emblematic building and from its rooftop you can enjoy some of the best views of Spain’s capital city.

Plaza Mayor

The Plaza Mayor was built during Philip III’s reign and is a central plaza in the city of Madrid, Spain. It is located only a few Spanish blocks away from another famous plaza, the Puerta del Sol. Make sure the check out the famous ‘Museum del Jamon’ for outstanding food and a cosy atmosphere.

Madrid Atocha is the largest railway station in Madrid. What makes Atocha so special is the stunning 4,000 square meter tropical garden the station houses under the arched skylight.

Royal Palace of Madrid

The Royal Palace of Madrid is the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family at the city of Madrid, but it is only used for state ceremonies. The Palace  is a beautiful baroque structure with approximately 3,000 rooms, making it one of Europe’s largest castles.
